I have an old XYZprinting da Vinci Nano. The hardware still works, but its software does not run properly on modern macOS anymore.
So I spent some time with Codex, USB traffic and quite a lot of trial and error. The result is NanoPrint: a small native Mac app for calibration, movement, filament changes, nozzle cleaning and other maintenance tasks.
The app is AI-vibe-coded and controls hardware that moves and gets hot. Therefore, I will not simply throw it onto the open internet. If you own the same printer and want access to the private repository or a copy of the app, leave a comment.
